Social Security and Medicare If you're having issues communicating with the Social Security Administration about your benefits or have questions about Medicare, please call my office. If you own a small business and have questions about connecting with the Small Business Administration (SBA) or available loans and resources, please contact my office. Student Financial Aid I strongly believe attending college should be available to all our children and my office is here to help prospective students and their families find information about federal financial aid programs. Constituent Success Story: Judy and Rodger from Lakewood My office is here to help the hard working people of the 7th Congressional District cut through some of the red tape when dealing with a government agency. If you are having an issue with a federal agency, please call my office. My staff and I will always do our best to help. I'm proud my office was able to help Judy and Rodger Graham with Rodger's Medicare enrollment to make sure he got the benefits he deserved. "We met with Congressman Perlmutter at one of his Government in the Groceries about our healthcare issue. A couple of weeks later, Rodger had Medicare Part B! We had previously been told by the Medicare/Social Security offices that we would have to wait until the enrollment period in January of 2013 to apply for Part B, and that it would not be effective until July 1, 2013. This would have left Rodger without Part B coverage for six months. Congressman Perlmutter's staff worked so quickly to rectify this issue. Our concerns became their concerns in no time at all. We can't thank you enough for all your help!"
